Our trustees

CSN is a charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales.

The trustees are accountable for the governance of the charity and the delivery of our charitable objects; they are supported by others in a group that compose the Management Committee which is responsible for the effective day to day running of the charity.

Andrew Collinge.  Trustee and Chair of Trustees

Andrew's present roles include counselling support for the Helpline, training and publications and he is a Designated Safeguarding Lead. He has an advanced diploma in Couple Counselling with specialised training in various areas including working with domestic violence, abuse and coercive control and sexual addiction. His training and experience includes coaching and mediation, finance and debt management and training and support for those with Internet addictions. He is a counsellor working with Relate.  Andrew is married to Sue and they both joined the committee in January 1997. They live in Halesowen West Midlands and are members of West Birmingham ecclesia. Married for over 50 years they have two grown up children and five grandchildren. 

 

Colin Briley.  Trustee and Treasurer.

Colin is a qualified chartered accountant and treasurer of the CSN. He is a former CAB volunteer and currently chair of his local YMCA. He has been a trustee since 2012  (Committee Mar 2013)

Sue Collinge, Trustee.

Sue is currently Sisters’ Day Coordinator.  She has been a committee member since 1997 and was joint Secretary with her husband Andrew 1997-2013.  Her background is in education as A Level lecturer, Examiner, Personal Tutor and Head of Communication Studies Department in a Tertiary College. She has a special interest in interpersonal communication and holds a degree in counselling.  Employed in the NHS for 12 years. 

Karen Cox. Trustee.

Karen initially joined CSN on the Awareness Day sub-committee in XXXX and has been a trustee since XXXX.

Phil Cox.  Trustee.

Phil initially joined CSN on the Awareness Day sub-committee, becoming a trustee in XXXX.  From April 2013 - Dec 2018 he was committee coordinator and since Jan 2019 responsible for IT, including database management and compliance with data security.  Outside CSN he has held trustee roles with responsibility for finance and compliance.

Gordon Dawes.  Trustee and Committee Coordinator / administrator of the charity.

Gordon joined the committee in 2018 and has been a trustee since 2019.  He lives in Ware Herts and is a member of the Ware Christadelphian church. Married, with three grown up children, he is a former senior HR lead in the pharmaceutical industry and for 12 years 2007-2018 Chair of the Christadelphian Meal a Day charity.

Julia Dean.  Trustee.

Roy Dean.  Trustee.

Hilary Knight.  Trustee.

Hilary is a member of Worthing ecclesia.  She has been a committee member since ...... and a trustee since ...  She co-ordinates the Helpline and Prayerline, organises the Shallowford fellowship weekends and is a member of the Sisters’ Day planning team.
