CSN Events
CSN holds a number of events to support our church community and help those hurting.
Our events fall into four categories:
Awareness Days: We aim to deliver a programme of events each year to raise awareness of issues faced by members of the church community, so as to encourage empathetic and compassionate care by fellow believers. These days also bring together those facing life challenges in common with others and so provide for forming supportive networks.
Safeguarding Training: Each year we hold a training day to raise awareness and knowledge of this important subject that is so crucial to everyone’s responsibility to demonstrate Christian love to all we cone into contact with. The afternoon is usually dedicated to the support of church Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) or thoise interested in the role, so delves into more detail and explore hypothetical case studies.
Encouragement and support: Coming together with fellow believers to celebrate the hope we share and encourage one another is the aim of our Praise Days, which also feature information about CSN to spread awareness of the breadth of support services we offer.
Charity Annual General Meeting (AGM): CSN is a charity registered with the Charity Commission of England & Wales, our members are the volunteers who give their time and expertise to help us provide the services we offer to those who contact us. Members can attend the AGM to hear about the activities of the charity and it’s planned strategy and events going forward. They also approve trustee appointments.
